Summary:  Working under direct supervision of the Service Manager, the role of the Bike Technician is to carry out assembly, repair and maintenance of bicycles.

Responsibilities:

Commit to and support store and individual sales goals

Acquire technical knowledge, record keeping and mechanical skills to perform assembly, repair and maintenance of bicycles

Achieve and maintain manufacturers' certification requirements

Maintain a knowledgeable and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction

Exhibit proper use and care of tools

Provide sales floor assistance as required

Qualifications:

Prior experience in tuning and repairing bicycles required

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment

Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
